Solve Complex Problems with an Integrated Computer Science Graduate Certificate

A graduate certificate will be issued when a student has completed 12 graduate credit hours in one of the specialization areas. After finishing the requirements for the graduate certificate, the student may opt to finish the remaining requirements towards a MS degree.*

Students already in the MS program wishing to obtain a Graduate Certificate "en route" to the MS should be advised that no more than 6 credits (2 courses) taken in MS program status (without concurrent admission in the respective Graduate Certificate program) can be counted toward the Graduate Certificate.  Thus, students interested in completing both programs should submit the applications for the MS and Graduate Certificate programs at the same time.

*Admission and completion of Certificate does not guarantee MS program admission.
